The parking lot just to the north of Charlotte Lofts (SW corner of Charlotte and Adelaide) was dug up a few days ago, looks like they might be taking soil samples. There's been no action on this corner, but I heard rumours of another boutique hotel here. Anyone have any info?
 
This project has some of the worst renderings I've seen. They look like a bad virtual reality simulation from the early 90s. Doesn't give you a sense of the architecture at all.
 
A building over on Queen by George was recently given the Tunsten (?) steel treatment ... should look great no Glas

The podium (lower) section is now complete. The remaining 7 floors will be on a narrower footprint, with cantilevered balconies, mirroring what the Charlotte Lofts do across the street, albeit on a slightly larger scale.
 
I was actually just thinking that, 3D. And like Murano at first, I'm wishing there was more glass and less grey.
