Lane right of way, McDonalds...
Echoing previous comments, I have been told it is almost a certainty the McDonalds will exercise their option to operate a restaurant here. This clearly was not an impediment to building sales, which have been very strong. This may also be an indication in a frothy market there is insufficient invocation of the caveat emptor doctrine.
I have a question I am hoping someone can answer. I was just told that the laneway to the west of Exhibit will be used by the 200 residents of Exhibit for ingress/egress as well as the unit owners next door at Museum House. This does not seem practical to me for obvious reasons. Would the city really have allowed access to both buildings off Bloor and the resultant congestion from a one car width laneway?
