Yeah, I see that. I think a seamless look to the balconies would have helped, as the vertical seams here are so close together it almost makes the building look to 'serial.' That being said, I think the glazing looks really good and the setbacks are fantastic. That initial shot looking west down Bloor just really shows you how much this area has changed, even since 2008.

It fits in surprisingly well with it's neighbours, both the ROM and the other towers beside it. Now bring on the McDonalds!

It really does—if you haven't been streetside to see it in a while, I highly suggest doing so. There are some gorgeous reflections of it on the crystal from a bunch of angles; it's really neat.

It'll be really interesting to see what development follows on that stretch (and especially if it matches the intrigue of this building). I could be mistaken, but I believe the Park Hyatt complex was recently sold, and I'd be surprised if the new owners weren't contemplating at least a restoration of the older south tower and a complete teardown and rebuild of the portico area and north tower.

There's really no obvious progress made on the exterior in between the shots I post, but I'm just in love with this building. Looked great in the brilliant weekend sun (and it gets about another 2 balcony panels per day).

Tried to get us some new angles and close-ups yesterday. Looking really nice here.

Love the calibre of the finish on the balcony material; really nice reflective qualities that vary significantly in different lighting conditions:

Bloor-fronting retail coming along:

Love the finish on the underside of the balconies; always one of my pet peeves when developers cheap out there:

Separation between this and Museum House, and a nice look at the stacking:

A look at the garage component (which also appears to have some mechanical in it) and the stacking:

Another close-up of the garage portion on the north side:
