God. What was the point of saving that one row house? It looks ridiculous sandwiched between two monoliths. If you're going to replace human-scaled heritage architecture with sterile boxes, at least make it a clean kill. Put it out of its misery.
 
Lamb and friends likely tried to acquire every property on that block but that owner probably held out and will go on as a lone wolf.

Sort of like the house on the corner of the CityLights on Broadway project in Midtown, but this positioning is a bit more awkward being squashed between the two condos.

No it doesn't. Only places that Lamb Dev Corp owns that have heritage designations have had an unfortunate tendency to burn, so 0 for 2.
