Is that all going to be one hugely thick raft slab? Wow I think.

Interesting that Urbanation would report the sale of a property that doesn't actually exist...(69 Charles)

68 and 70 Charles are to become Quadrangle and Aspen Ridge's Manhattan.

Let's hope it's another Casa - Charles is truly becoming 'aA Alley.'

It would be 66 Charles that they bought. It's a heritage listed 2 ½ storey Second Empire home now used as lawyers' offices, and it backs onto 69 Hayden.

The proposal would be to preserve 66 as is. To the west of it, 62 and 64 are being preserved as part of the Casa III development, enlarging the total property so that Casa III's fsi was not too outrageously high. This would be the same case here, and I wouldn't be surprised if we also heard that Cresford bought the final properties on the block north of the Manhattan site—640, 642, 644 Church—and proposed to preserve them as well, all in aid of putting a taller tower on the 69 Hayden lot. That would also give them the separation they'd need between this proposal and Casa III and Manhattan.

Manhattan, as you may know, preserves the front of 68 and 70 Charles and 628 to 636 Church. It's sacrificing 638 Church to get a driveway into the back of the properties where the drop-off, servicing, and garage entry will be located.
