I've always referred it to as fiery red...the threshold where orange turns to red on the colour wheel, which can look more orange or red depending on lighting conditions...

...but if they painted that as such as Mr. Capizzano suspects, that's really cheapening out on the materials in this opinion. Maybe not as bad as burning it in EIFS'igy...but yeah. /sigh

Confirmed that it is a potassium silicate stain that absorbs into the bricks. They chose the opaque which is why it appears more like paint

I always find it a bit gross when someone sprays an ENTIRE building - the mortar is supposed to be another color - at least cover the mortar before you spray so it still looks like a regular brick building...
