It was added in June of this year.

I had issues with the old app thinking I wasn't at the dock where I was trying to unlock the bike (it would locate me 100m away). I don't know if that's an issue with the app itself, or the phone's perceived GPS location. Anyway, I haven't had this issue come up in the past few months

Well when you open Google Maps does it show the right location?

I get this issue around Marilyn Bell Park so I make a point not to use those docks. My phone thinks I am north of the Gardiner.

I had this issue happen, but only for 1 specific bike on the dock

I suppose this is another advantage of using the physical card. I never have GPS problems with unlocking bikes.

How does it work? I remember the screens used to turn on if you tapped them but either it's been broken or disabled one very dock I used.

There's a slot on each dock, to the left of the bike. The card (or old fob) gets inserted there
