Can’t stay away from here! Apparently the next step is to open the space between the north and south silos. My first question is if they will paint the suspended industrial thingy a fun colour or heritage black? Also I wonder what the plan is for the boardwalk on the eastern side in regards to the grassy strip behind the fence once it opens up? Extension of pavers and move benches back? They have put asphalt on the back part of the plaza.

Finally love this little coffee hut! Taken 13 October.

An unexpected pleasure was seeing people enjoying the site while waiting for a plane and looking so relaxed. I always assumed that the airport and this place would create conflict. Taken 20 October.

Did a quick visit today as part of a long walk. The quay certainly is very popular, and has some fantastic views!

The skyline from here seems very empty when you can't see much of the Financial District

Great location for plane-spotting (no, the plane was not landed yet, I snapped the photo just before it reached the runway)

The stone feature also creates a nice barrier between the two sections of the quay, making the plaza area feel nicely enclosed
