Speaking of Aura penthouses, this video (just photographs) was posted today and perhaps is our first look at one of the 79th floor penthouses, which, lack the massive awkward bulkhead in Patterson's unit.
It's weird that the unit shown below is named 7916, considering there are only 4 units not he 79th floor. Shouldn't it be 1701, 1702, 1703, or 1704? Perhaps it's because it's the 16th 'penthouse-style' unit in the building?
Anyway, this is a really impressive suite with true floor-to-ceiling windows and impressive ceiling heights. The views offered from the upper floors of this building really remind me of those videos of the Trump Chicago penthouse and how unobstructed the views are from those heights. Aside from the south view, you really are looking down at every other building in the city by a long-shot. While that will soon change, certain vistas like the east and the west will probably remain intact for many many years.
