Toronto Aura at College Park | 271.87m | 78s | Canderel | Graziani + Corazza

I'm sorry, but i think this is turning out absolutely beautifully. From Every Angle! thanks for the latest pictures SomeMidTowner.

Look at the sidewalks on Yonge. It is truly pathetic that we haven't turned that street into a 2-lane road with wide side-walks and bike lanes. The residents of Aura and other such developments would greatly benefit from such a transformation.

I wouldn't call Aura beautiful, but it certainly is not ugly. If the curve turns out well, this building might just surprise the detractors. The sidewalks on Yonge definitely need to be widened ASAP.

Yonge has to become a one way grand boulevard. Wide sidewalks and trees, some flower pots here and there and it'll stop being the eyesore that it is.

Well, there's not much they could do about the architecture or the stores. The market and property owners dictate that. But as city planners they could do exactly what bloor bia did. They don't necessarily need to use granite, concrete will be just fine.
Let them do something already. so many buildings are being built in the city. So much tax many is being collected in the city proper, yet, there's little money being spent by the city on beautifying the streets. This is the city center where tourists come and see and people shop. They should make that investment.

Don't underestimate the substantial positive change that the BIA has brought about in the area. Their influence also increases every year, and business owners seem to keep responding more actively to the area's issues over time.

From yesterday afternoon.

All the sidewalks on downtown Yonge were indeed re-done on both sides in 2010 or 2011 all the way up to Wellesley St., or maybe further.
