I'm not a fan of 88 Scott either, but much of what you like could be considered mediocre. If you can't prove what you like to be superior to someone else's opinions, than you should just keep quiet. No one else has your brain, so it's stupid to expect others to only like what you find appealing. How can you stand to live in a city that is dominated by banal architecture? It must be torture.

The lists can be interesting to compare, but on their own they don't provide enough information for a meaningful debate. Claiming that any dissension constitutes defence of mediocrity amounts to little more than grandstanding, unless you're God. Is that you God?
