I like the new minor variance signs. Much more visible than the last ones which were almost impossible to notice and were often illegible as they were not always waterproofed properly.

Just came across the info that the minor variances required for zoning on this site were approved subject to the condition that:

The owner shall make a cash payment-in-lieu of providing 11 on-site parking spaces into the Municipal Parking Fund, to the satisfaction of the Manager, Traffic Planning, Transportation Services, Toronto and East York District.

Anyway, no idea how long it will be before Tawse Realco Inc. gets moving on this. From the same Moray Tawse who owns the excellent Tawse Winery in Niagara.
