Good to see!

From the Dundas Street bridge over the Georgetown subdivision, yesterday afternoon (and into the sun - sorry about the shadows). Shoring piles are in.

@Marcanadian;

Have you noticed the amount of time, or what time, the crews are on site?
With a residential neighbourhood surrounding this building, I wonder what the construction hours are? Or if they're any different.

BTW -- thanks for doing what I've been wanting to do! Haha.

I've been to the site at various times. When I went last time they were there at 10, so I imagine they'd start around 9. The crew doesn't seem so stick around too long in the late afternoon. I'd guess they're gone by 5. But I can ask next time I visit.

I talked to one of the workers on Friday and he said they usually start around 7:30 and end from 3:30 to 5.

Here's another batch of photos from Friday:

They're going to love having the Union Pearson express thundering by their condos every 12 minutes... forever.

Just like the residents in the Robert Watson Lofts.

As you have pointed out for about the 18th time in this thread

Which I why I moved. :cool:

And when I heard about the Union Pearson Express I thought, yikes I don't want to be here when that goes through. That was back in 2010. But now it's a reality. I also now realize I would have had absolutely no view when 383 went up. Whoever own it now will be staring at brick wall not 25 feet away from their Juliet balcony.

Choo choo!

along with every other train on the corridor. Most will be electrified in a decade anyway, but this is still beside a rail corridor with 8 tracks that will likely be the busiest in the country by far in a decade. The UPx will be but a small part of the rail traffic.

We could've been neighbours. :-(

Been staring at my current neighbours brick wall for 22 years.
Doesn't bother me.
