133 Queen Street East Public Consultation​

The City is holding a Community Consultation meeting for 133 -141 Queen St. E. & 128 Richmond St. E., where you can learn more about this application, ask questions, and share your comments.​

This proposal seeks to amend the Zoning By-law in order to permit a 41-storey building containing 440 residential dwelling units, 1,300 square metres of retail space, and 99 vehicular parking spaces.​

The meeting was a public consultation on the application. The result MAY be a reduction in height, a redesign or approval but until the City evaluates the public input and it goes to TEYCC you will not know what the City will want (and whether the developer agrees or will go to OMB or LPAT. Patience, the journey is just beginning!

As a result of the circulation comments and feedback received from Planning staff, the Ward Councillor and neighbourhood residents, the Owners have made revisions to the Initial Proposal, including modifications to address concerns relating to building height, massing and setbacks, shadow impacts, and the public realm. The result of these modifications is a 39-storey mixed-use building, consisting of 440 residential units and 500 square metres of retail space on the ground floor (the “Revised Proposal”).
