Toronto Ïce Condominiums at York Centre | 234.07m | 67s | Lanterra | a—A

Ok, who cares about boring office space in Chi vs T.o? Office space is what makes Toronto boring! We need more creative, attractive well dressed designer types instead! (Well dressed designer type=this building; boring office worker type=aura. :p)

Ah, see that's the problem right there :)

You and others need to realize office space is key, the more people who work downtown imply the more who'll live there, meaning the more support for your 'designer types' / cultural space / so on so forth. Yea there will always be people who live downtown (ish area) and work else where as that's what they like, but that's just the majority - so we need more and more people!

It's the office types that create the wealth required by the designer types. The latter service the former, not the other way around. It's no accident that the two pre-eminent financial centres in the world, London and New York, are also the two pre-eminent creative centres.

Every time I see this thread, I think of this... would make a nice lobby entrance...

Some pics taken this morning showing the activity at the Ice site.

Here's one taken from the Roundhouse park showing both Infiniti and Ice.

These two were taken from just beside the Ice showroom.

Congratulations George! Is everyone else at this event going to be bald? But if some hairy real estate agent shows up there, people may get confused and sign up with him ;) lol

Either the site was really active today or the strong winds were spewing dirt from the site all over the Gardiner. Probably a combination of both :D
