Today's pic: Commerce Court

A great little public space surrounded by great buildings... always fun to pass through. I always wished Dundas Square was done with this level of quality... the nice curves, the quality glass canopy-looking thingy in the back. Oh well.

i have to agree, it is an excellent little spot. The thing i love is when you walk up to the CC building and look straight up at it, looks mighty impressive...

Of course the problem with a lot of permanent seating & features for Dundas Square is that it goes against the private interests that wish to use the square for events/promos.

Yeah right, Commerce Court is at best a quasi-public space. Security guards there are are often quite happy to usher you off the premises or cite you for trespassing if they don't like the looks of you.

I agree with Babel's jaundice about the Zeidlerdeconstructivization of the plaza a decade ago.

Well, it's got the fat businessmen, and now the heffalumps; maybe add this to the mix...
