The seemingly terminal decline of Tim Hortons

Major new strategy at Tim's............out with the new, in with the old! LOL

Not a word on returning to the old coffee supplier, making baked goods fresh in store and returning to non-disposable dishware. No thanks. Stupid frankendoughnuts aren't "the roots".

And good on them for pulling Beyond Meat - because they can't even cook it properly.

Idiots... who goes to Timmies for a burger FFS? Especially when in many locations there is a Wendy's attached.

And ironically Wendy's use fresh patties too. Frankly though this is a blessing, not a setback - honestly Beyond Meat should have stopped supplying to Tim Horton's if they had only tasted what the company did to it.

San Fran is banning disposable coffee cups, well, voluntarily.

Now if only they can ban public intoxication and defecation. But the cups thing is a win I'd like to copy in Toronto. The easiest fix would be for Timmies to charge a $0.025 refundable deposit on every cup and another $0.025 on every lid. Unlike SF, this would take provincial legislation.

Sometime next year:

Tim Hortons Executives announce another new ineffectual plan to turn failing franchise around after previous efforts failed to do exactly that

More details to come in the near future.

Nah - more like:

Tim Hortons CEO exits. Incoming CEO reaffirms he is Canadian, loves watching Due South and claims he will help the Leafs to win the next Stanley Cup.

I would rather die from hunger than eat this.

Not a bad position to take as eating that would cause you to die prematurely anyway. Either from malnutrition or diabetes-induced complications. Best to just skip the foul taste.

Of course, at the City meeting tonight........coffee and doughnuts from Tim's on offer.

A blood sugar meter should be included in that behemoth box of Timbit cereal.

This is a review of the cereal from https://www.narcity.com/eat-drink/c...real-has-launched-and-heres-my-honest-opinion

Imagine the sweetest cereal you’ve ever eaten. Now imagine you add three or four spoonfuls of sugar to the milk. Now, throw in an extra sweetener to the bowl. Or two.

That is what this cereal tastes like.

The Birthday Cake-flavoured Timbit cereal tastes like nothing but sugar, candy, and sweetener, all rolled into one little crunchy ball.
