Not an aerial shot but I took this while on a walk this morning 19km away in Port Credit. Shame there was so much dust/haze/atmospheric distortion/whatever in the atmosphere.

Looking west on The Queensway at Avon Park drive. Cube Condos and Queensway Park condos in the lower left foreground. Curio condos under construction in the middle left. Blue crane for Kazmir condos under construction in the centre and Verge Condos up and to the left of that. The black tower in the upper left that sticks out like a sore thumb is 26 Zorra.

Good thing they had the foresight to build 26 Zorra as tall as it is. It may stick out like a sore thumb in 2023 but in ~20 years it will sit in a sea of buildings close to that height or taller. If they had built a 10 floor building it would likely look under sized for its location within a generation.

What sticks out is that yellow brick pice of junk in the lower left. As the Queensway gets built out, it will look even more jarring than it already does.

Looking north south of the Queensway and west of Hurontario. The new parking garage for trillium hospital has gained some height. Once complete, the six level garage fronting The Queensway can be demolished and the new ED built.
