So... am I correct in thinking that Rob Ford is avoiding any criminal charges (per Blair's words about already laying charges where criminal activity was present) and his friend Lisi is going to be the fall guy?

I wouldn't say that he is "avoiding" charges, but rather that he has not yet been charged

How is this a vindication for the police? Despite a having a mountain of evidence that Ford was involved with drug dealers they did not obtain a warrant for Fords home or car?

The recovered the deleted video...if this were a cover-up, why would they go to so much trouble? As for warrants, do any of us really know that much about police work to expertly comment on this? Seriously, it's like going to a message board to get advice on brain surgery.

Blair just said the Mayor has not been interviewed, yet he is confident the police have done their job. Seems weird that they wouldn't have interviewed Ford after all that surveillance.

Not that I am a fan of Olivia Chow, but really, we lived through Rob, I am sure you can do the same for Chow.

My theory is that Lisi was the go-between, but he's the guy they've got on tape saying "If you want the video to go away, it'll be three hundred grand."
