why is the lady doug's with familiar to me? where have we seen her before?

Would that be Simone Daniels, former assistant to the Councillor for Ward 2, current assistant to the president of DECO?

Also, that's some 504-worthy manspreading going on. Things that make you go hmmm...

This is pretty amazing, especially the photo in the background.

then that's not simone daniels.

but i swear we have seen her... at a campaign office maybe? or part of the crowd for a press conference? something.

slight aside... why does 10 Belfield Road come up as the address for daniels/ford on zoominfo?

'cause it's the address for The Apostles' Continuation Church International...

But it was *also* Ford's Etobicoke campaign office last year.

August 12. Rob Ford campaign headquarters in Rexdale. The Ford Nation faithful are marking the spot where his worship is to park with a Ford for Mayor sign. It’s the first time media have been invited to the campaign at ground zero, located in part of Apostles’ Continuation Church on Belfield Road.

Incidentally, the building was the longtime home of Etobicoke Hydro, before they moved out and the ACC moved in (presumably they're only using/leasing part of the building)

Until the next relevant court date or until Rob or Doug put their foot into their mouth, then things get rolling again.

For sure, things will heat up again. It's nice, though, that Tory's mayoralty is getting more exciting now. Lots of controversial decisions coming up.

Strobel calls Trump America's Rob Ford.

Surely, these guys were separated at birth.

Meantime, that snorting, scoffing and giggling you’ve heard since The Donald’s announcement is the Effete Elite.

They are the same hoity-toity, tweedy toffs who dismissed Ford when the combative councillor from Etobicoke declared for mayor in 2010.

I would much rather have a mayor in the news for decisions related to the job than for his personal antics. Tory may get flak for stuff like carding and the Gardiner East, but his personal life isn't a factor. He is largely ignored by the media outside of Toronto and isn't mentioned at all in the US.

I wonder how long it takes for Ford's type of cancer to return and spread. Maybe longer since doctors said they were able to get it all?
