The bridge replacements to allow for a widening from Bayfield to Mapleview are going to happen very soon.
I think scrub is being removed for the widening in Barrie already.

I last drove through there in February and they had cleared the scrub.I think scrub is being removed for the widening in Barrie already.
I've been through there a few times in the last couple of days. Most of the forestry work is currently between Anne and Dunlop. All three bridges (Dunlop, Anne and Bayfield) will have to be rebuilt. I assume the clearing is to allow for worksite and diversions.I last drove through there in February and they had cleared the scrub.
I believe the first phase is just replacing the Anne St bridge.
I don't think the 401-404-DVP interchange can take any more additional traffic. This will take some pressure off 401 between 400 and 404. That's probably the busiest stretch of 401.
usually brush clearing, utility relocations, that sort of thing.Recent article about Bradford Bypass: https://www.bradfordtoday.ca/local-...bypass-to-start-as-early-as-fall-2021-3573989
My question is, what kinds of “early works” would potentially start in the fall of this year?
Relocating wildlife (beavers to subway stations), that sort of thing.usually brush clearing, utility relocations, that sort of thing.
Was speaking more in terms of 404 southbound to 401 eastbound.Westbound 401 traffic has enough space to continue on 404 northbound.
