To be fair, I am surprised Doug Ford did not just walk around handing out $20 dollar bills to everyone.

A family member just received her cheque -- it is made out to her maiden name, which she hasn't used since her marriage in 1977!

What database are they pulling from? I would have assumed they would have used the tax database.........
Hope that one isn't 48 years out of date!

I was under the belief they were using CRA info, which is why I assumed my $200 vote-buy would arrive as direct deposit, but so far nada..
From my understanding, it's all cheques (hello, 2025). I had assumed (always dangerous) that the info would come from CRA databases as well. I'm curious to see mine now to see what name it is made out to.

I moved in August - it got sent to my old address despite me updating both my drivers license and CRA info immediately after moving. I had to do the address change request online and now will be getting the cheque in "4-6 weeks"..

Ah, mine definitely was sent to an older address of mine, then, as I renewed my IDs in December. Whereabouts do we update this info so we can be properly bought-off?

The whole point was to make it very visible and apparent that is a big from our beneficent premier. Lesson learned for federal Liberals. The carbon rebates should have been mailed giant novelty cheques.
