Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

I'll take a businessman with decades of experience, and what appears to be success from the outside, like DOUG FORD over a card carrying neo socialist party any day of the week.
"Appears to be success from the outside"? That's a flip-flop. Appearances to such people are what's important, not substance. If it's shiny on the outside then no one will see the rot on the inside.

The last part gives you up... Do you know you live in a social-democracy? Or the definition of technocracy?

How anyone here with a vested interest in the real estate industry's continued prosperity can contemplate voting for the NDP is just baffling. That includes:

-developers
Sleazebags ;-)
-builders

Sleazebags ;-)
-landlords

Sleazebags ;-)
-investors

Sleazebags ;-)
-broker and agents

Sleazebags ;-)
-lenders

Sleazebags ;-)
-lawyers

Sleazebags ;-)
-planners

Sleazebags, at least when they're in cahoots with most on this list ;-)
-mortgage brokers

Sleazebags ;-)
-architects

See "planners"
-engineers

Ditto
-marketing companies

Sleazebags ;-)
-appraisers

Sleazebags ;-)
-etc

You are all here for one reason or another because you have a passion for real estate and the development of it.

Uh, with vested interests like yours...

Curiouser and curiouser.

The fact that this property is not listed with a realtor makes it look like a cheap stunt, like someone is trying to save realtor fees or trying to attract attention.

I speculate that Doug “re-invested” what Renata’s owed back into Deco, the same way a gambler places has a sure bet that he’s certain will get him rent for the month. I’m sure he rationalized it as a boon for Renata once business takes off again.

"Once business takes off again". Yeah, there's definitely something of the failed-serial-gambler about how next-generation Deco posted losses year after year...no wonder the Fords seemed so hot on Woodbine Live!, and not just because it's in their ward...

And for all of Doug’s talk of his prowess as a businessman, he’s spent little time actually being a businessman over the past decade, seemingly finding ways to stay away from it.

I've seen speculation reignited over whether Deco is, in fact, a "front for something", i.e. the old hash dealer never totally forgot his true business roots...

I've seen these types of situations before. Doug probably feels Renata doesn't deserve any of the money she is seeking.

Personally, I would have used a real esate agent to filter out the crank calls.
That sign is so awful it looks like Deco made it .

Ontario Election 2018: an open letter from Toronto to Ontarians thinking of voting for Doug Ford
He's come to your town and felt your pain, but for those of us close enough to observe his and his brother's rise to power in Toronto – and the ensuing chaos – it looks like Doug Ford is on the brink of pulling one of the biggest cons in the history of Ontario politics...
With all evidence pointing to this being a disaster, are Ontarians really that foolish? I realize it doesn't look good right now but I just can't believe it!

Ford would be a disaster of epic proportions!
