PM Mark Carney's Canada

And how many containers are sitting in Cuba's docks? How many of them originated from China? Any guarantees that none of them have Chinese cruise missiles with ranges up to 1500 km?

The ships you can at least attempt to track. How do you track containers in docks of China-friendly states?

I don't want to dwell too much. But a fixed threat is much less dangerous than a moving threat. Not in the least because you can predict avenues of approach from a fixed threat. A ship can move to flank your defences. This is at least where part of the worry that led to Golden Dome is coming from.

With Carney's statement on Iran its really hard not to see us as basically a vasal state of the United States.

All the elbows up bs was just empty election sloganeering. Just like Carney's statements in Davos were pretty hollow too

For some insane reason, a lot of people simply thought that the Davos speech is Canada dumping all ties with the US. It was clearly a statement about pragmatism and a call to unite behind democratic values. I don't think the Islamic Regime meets that standard.
Israel is an apartheid state so they don't really have democratic values either.

And the US has shown through their meddling in World affairs that democracy isn't too important to them either

For the record, this is the PM statement on Iran:

There is nothing wrong with this statement. Neither factually, nor rhetorically.

It was definitely a choice to come out in support of more American and Israeli war crimes.

I'm sure everyone in their right mind (including & especially Iranians) wants that regime gone. My biggest concern is that any intervention to try to topple it would lead to the creation of another terror group & another terror wave, giving everyone in Europe/US/Canada yet another reason to fear for their safety in their daily lives.

That's not whataboutism.

You dont get to pretend you are doing things for 'democracy' when we can see through your motives and lies.
Nobody is pretending this is about democracy. Everyone is pretty clear this is about toppling the bloody Ayatollah regime when it is at its weakest.

And you don't get to pretend that Ayatollah a didn't just kill tens of thousands of civilians barely two months ago. And you don't get to pretend that the Canadian PM statement regarding Iran is in support of Israel's war crimes in Gaza in any way, shape, or form.
