NEXT at Elgin East (Sequoia Grove Homes) - Real Estate

Has anyone in Building A installed their blinds / curtains yet? I reached out to a few handymen and most were suggesting to get ceiling brackets. I'm not sure that would be possible on my windows given that there is a vent right above them (see image). If they drilled in the ceiling, I'm worried they might rupture the air vent.

Anyone have any thoughts / recommendations. Thank you!

I just did my PDI today, the unit was super dirty, vent covers are not in place.
Wondering if anyone has heard from the builder about the final closing date? I am just wondering how long would be the occupancy period.
 
Wondering if anyone knows when is the final closing? just wondering how long would be my occupancy period. I understand the builder has 3 different entities: A, B, C for this project. Would they have different final closing dates?

Yes I also bought it as one of the perks was an outlet. Was disappointed to see they didn't follow through. I think we should be entitled to a partial refund

I'm not sure but I really hope it's soon! Anyone else have thoughts on this?

I was told as the sales office that there will be different final closing dates for each entity based on completion of each one to be able to get title.

True, it seems like the final closing date would be next year, it really really long occupancy period

I brought this up in my PDI about missing outlet and was told to contact info@sequioagrovehomes.com, which I did and included a screenshot of the upgraded island specs that I had. No response and it's been a week. Lawyer said to put it on the tarrion 30 day form.

May I ask what’s your firm occupancy date? Mine is May 9th, Building B seventh floor. Worry if the builder will change the date as I have given move-out notice to my landlord.

Hi,
The last letter received from the builder was in Nov 2023, stating my Firm Occupancy is Jun 19, 2024, 14th floor. I am guessing I would have received something by now, if that June date is to change

Hi all,
I’m in Building B 3rd Floor and June 24 (delayed from Feb 2) is now my Firm Occupancy date as well. Notice was received Nov 2023.
 
Would anyone aware that if occupancy for Building B has started yet?
Concerned if my May 9th Firm Occupancy Date on 7th Floor is feasible or not.
