Maldive's Excellent Future Skyline Rendering.

3Dementia sorry for awakening the subject, and I apologize for any unpleasant memories.

I'm a mod at SSP. Its relatively Toronto-friendly now, though some habits die hard.

There is a future skyline rendering called "TORONTO SKYLINE 2015 PROJECTED" I haven't seen before posted at www.discovervancouver.com...C_ID=34508
...also posts of the Metropolis rendering I haven't seen, and a model of the Maple Leaf Towers....might be of interest to some.

The city vs city threads are long gone from SSP. Don't let past experiences keep you away, there's some good discussions over there and the trolls are kept in check.

discovervancouver.com - now there's a site everyone should check out at least once

brentster,
Thanks for the post. I'm pretty sure all of those images have been posted here before. As for the future skyline 2015 rendering, I know it's been posted here :D

"Did Dylan have a site pre-SSP? I'm trying to remember something from that period..."

He initially had a site devoted to skyscrapers called Nalyd's Skyscraper Page (or something to that effect). Initially there was no forum or chat- just diagrams and descriptions. I remember visiting that site quite a bit-gosh that was at least 7-8 years ago..?

U r right... but has it been 7 years? Shit, I should feed the fish and see if the little ****er made it into high school.

Bog, since you didn't bring it up, there's a chance you'll kick yourself on this one:

D Y L A N

N A L Y D

;-)

Yeh- I got that. But I must admit it took awhile before i figured it out:)

I still remember some of you cheeky punks from the Skyscraper sites :smokin

Hmm... looking at those dates I see that I started reading UT just a few days after it started without even realising it. It took me another month before before I felt the need to register. I thought UT was SSP; for months I had been hearing people referring to "the skyscraper forum" so when I finally decided to check it out for myself, I thought the "Toronto Skyscraper Forum" was it.

Hey 3D,

There are some others who made the original SSP migration to UT... don't forget about us... I'm feeling left out

Now now, let's not make this a pissing contest as to who has been here the longest.

Besides I was here 6 days before you. :p

Took me 6 months to find UT. The thanks goes to the Infinity Condo. Saw a sign for it one day when walking by the Skydome. First time that I heard of it so when I came home I googled it and voila UT appeared. It was an amazing couple of days finding images of proposals (like 1 Bloor E) that I hadn't heard of before.
