Goldie's "Good Signs"

"signs"

Goldie and Everyone: I have not posted here at UT for a while and I do look at sections here when I can...
I look at the "City Photos" and "Transportation and Infrastructure" sections most often...

This topic made me think of this 1971 song from the Five Man Electrical Band: "Signs"...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9v2D_S2F2c - with a sign picture video...
www.youtube.com/watch?v=8mt5geMFCcE - Canada Day - Toronto 2010

Does anyone remember this song?
Even though the thought is somewhat negative it seems appropriate here...

I am one that takes notice to - and remembers interesting signs wherever
they may be...

Of course! I remember all the 5MEB classics - Signs, Absolutely Right,
and this halloween staple: www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHTc5n8aY-g

Here's a couple signs from the past couple days:

First they tell you you can't bring animals in. But then they fine you if you don't "poop and scoop". Now, if you can't bring an animal in here... just whose "poop" is it you're "scooping"...?

If you didn't know that "Miss" here stands for Mississauga, you might wonder why the lady in the sleigh has a big white beard. :)

To be strictly honest, I did this one. :)

Swear to God, this was a real sign I saw in Guelph about 15 years ago now.

On what used to be Finch Avenue west of Morningside.

Always got a laugh out of this. A very juvenile laugh. Juvenile as in young, or Yonge, the street where I shot this about three years ago.

From a Tiff themed display just inside the front doors of the John and Richmond 'Chapters' store. These used to hang outside Toronto theatres [depending on how the film was 'classified' of course].
