while I cant say for sure if thats the timeline, I do know that it was promised that 2-way service wouldnt start until after electrification was done. something to do with the diesel engines.
Theyll canopy over the existing platform once this one is finished right? or will they have center platform for both directions? Some more Guelph progress... Can't be said enough how much the full length canopy makes the station feel much more substantial.
Thanks for the updates Drum. I plan to walk the line from Kennedy, I was going to do it this winter but the ongoing construction at Agincourt and Milliken held me back. We're into growing season when I do ravine and shoreline walks, so I'll probably push this to the fall now.April 20
More up on my Site for Agincourt as noted in my last posting
With this now mostly completed, it will be a few months before I do one more trip to the station and cross it off my following list and depending when the east platform goes into service.
looks like from the last photo the need to realign a section of platform track. hopefully not as big of a job vs the crosstown fiasco lolThanks for the updates Drum. That will be taken care when the missing section is install as well the full realignment of the west track when the east platform goes into service in the next month or 2. That used to be the mainline before construction started. The track work for the northbound south of the platform not completed.looks like from the last photo the need to realign a section of platform track. hopefully not as big of a job vs the crosstown fiasco lol

More up on my site for Milliken Station
As I stated in my last posting on the 20th, the east platform is ready to be put into service with riders using the stairs and elevator from the parking lot to/from it. Once work is done for the Steeles entrances, there will be 2 more stairs and elevators to get to either of the 2 platforms
One or 2 more trips before I close the book on this project.
Looking at the google Map, it shows the piers are in place and something long on the west side where the new bridge is to go in. This is for both bridges to the south. Not much for the bridge under CP tracksHas there been any sign of mobilization tofinish the creek bridges?

Once there is all day service with 15-30 minute service along with fare integration, the GO system will offer a better way to travel than we can do today. Thanks for the posts! I take the Stouffville line occasionally so it's nice to see these become actual train stations instead of just a piece asphalt with some bus platforms. Now if only the all the day service comes back soon... and the 2nd track is actually completed. I don't think people realize how much this would change things in this area if we get actual real regular all day service.

They are doing track work between CP and the first pier. No idea how old the 2023 map is and always wonder about this until now.
