Anything in the report(s) about the ownership / lease agreements of the 1967 Gymnasium, Pool and Meeting Room buildings on the Western edge of the building (aka New Generation Youth Recreation Centre)..?
Our understanding is that the CITY owns that land and those buildings, not the TDSB.

No there is nothing on the subject of various land ownership; nor is the gym/pool mentioned at all.

Progress on rebuilding York Memorial Collegiate. It is just to the west of the station and I didn’t want to start a new thread. Hopefully a new theatre the community can use. With George Brown going in somewhere along here we will have quite the cluster of amenities!

Interesting article on the troubles faced during/since the move + recent updates on the reconstruction project from March- good to see that much of the original building will be conserved, and it also looks like the Tretheway wing will be rebuilt:

Interesting to note that this will be a 183,000 square-foot building (!) and the lead designers are Taylor Hazell, whose practice has mostly been as heritage consultants rather than designers.
No one at the TDSB cares, but this is an odd choice.
