Not sure if this has been asked before but if so it was probably a decent while ago sooo... From what I've seen the people frequenting the forums the most are on average quite a bit older than I expected for some reason so I'm just curious

I'm glad your categories put me in with people in their late 20s. Bless you.
Most surveys have me in with people in their 40s.

Or you're just like my younger brother who by the time he was 25 we were calling him the 25-year old 50-year old.

That's definitely me as well I sometimes get along with my parent's friends better than my own

Gen Y here. Yes, I consider Gen Y as being born from 1981 to 1990 and Millennial as born from 1991 to 2000, though most would lump Gen Y with Millennial.

That's why I said that most lump Gen Y with Millennial and Millennial being the rebranded version of Gen Y fits into that.
