Even more so when the east side of the "square" was framed by Eaton's:Funny how the front of City Hall once served as a kind of incipient Toronto answer to Times Square/Piccadilly. I guess the last vestige of that was the Beneficial Loans sign that looked north on Bay until the late 60s...
