Deserving of Height

And actually, rather than having two towers, shouldn't RBC have the tallest of them all?

that always bugged me. why didn't they stack them. why?
but the idea that banks "deserve" to be tallest seems odd.
cities like new york tend toward "concept" buildings as their tallest..like using the state motto..."the empire state" or focusing on the fuzzy idea of "world trade" or even fuzzier, "freedom".
perhaps maybe a "maple leaf" tower or a "beaver tail" tower?

^ Toronto has a somewhat long list of proposed tall buildings that have nothing to do with banks... from Eaton's College Park to the John Maryon Tower to the Weston Skyscraper, and even Sapphire Tower. Now we have Trump, 1 Bloor East and Aura, all three of which have absolutely nothing to do with banks or even corporate headquarters.

Also think of the CN Tower... it was said that the CN Tower was built to remove the "ghosting" effect of TV signals bouncing off of Toronto's downtown skyscrapers, but another reason was that CN wanted to build the world's tallest tower as some sort of patriotic symbol of pride, which does make it a "concept" building.
