Hopefully this building engages the street with retail, rather than setting it back and avoiding urbanity.

My god, what is it with that area and the persistence of such trash? This pile wouldn't even be acceptable in Woodbridge.

Usually, such kitschy architecture doesn't come with an ugly mechanical box on the roof, but not here. I, too, don't understand why this area so consistently gets bad architecture.

That's as disgusting as we feared. I don't think there is much hope for this stretch of Dundas seeing how all of the recent development sports "architecture" of this ilk.

By the way, the nice little modernist office building on site is now fenced off. It won't be long now until it's destroyed to be replaced with a much worse building, which seems to be a disease in this city.

Just drove by the site, looks like they are digging the foundation, and starting to install the beams.

Too bad this is a retirement residence, it would be a beautiful location for a residential condo since it backs on to the Humber River.

The old folks will have nice views, no doubt.
