I'm not a really a loyal "brand" guy but I guess I'm a Toronto anomaly, I like Columbia Sportswear products. Footwear, jackets, sweaters... I've found them to be good looking, quality products that are effective, and last a few years. Maybe it's my age range too, I also like stuff from Mark's. I wouldn't have ventured into a Mark's Work Warehouse five years ago.

Wrong city for a flagship.

How do I i.d. people from the K-W/Mid-Western Ontario regions?

Answer: They all wear Columbia Sportswear jackets. :p

(And white jogging shoes and track pants.)

How do I i.d. people who are annoyingly pretentious?

Answer: They use every thread to voice their dislike of people from a particular area, like KW.

Uh-huh and all those people shopping at Mark's Work Warehouse downtown must be just visiting from the K-W region?

Timberland no longer operating in Canada - Grafton Fraser dumped them a while ago.

I agree completely.

I've always thought Mountain Hard Wear's logo/typeface was really amateur for such a large brand.

Adam Vaughn held a community meeting discussing this site last week. Anybody have any new updates since Columbia walked?
