I feel sad for the players. So many guys on this team that deserved to win that ring.
I left the bar as soon as I saw the Dodgers celebrating on the field. Can't bear to re-watch that inning. Can't bear to look at anything Blue Jays or baseball related right now. Just here to vent.
It was disappointing how at one point in the game, L.A. wanted to "bean" Andres Gimenez and afterwards cleared the benches. I thought these ball clubs respected one another, but I guess that isn't the case.
It will be interesting to see how the Canadian crowd/ fans receive Freddie Freeman if he plays for Canada in the WBC next year.
Time for me to take a break from baseball and just sports in general.
EDIT: Now that I'm home, the longer I sit here, quietly contemplating on what just happened, the angrier I find myself becoming. I really hate the Dodgers organization. I really wanted the Blue Jays to defeat them and show them up. Freddie Freeman and all the other players on media day, before game 1, talking about L.A. achieving a potential dynasty. These guys really waltzed into Toronto at the start of the WS thinking they were going to sweep us.
