To come down on a moderate-pro Bertuzzi side, I thought he was one of our stronger players throughout the tournament. I didn't see the penalty he took during the game against Russia, but I do remember seeing his hussle and forechecking at a time when maybe one or two other guys were doing the same.

Perhaps...but to be honest, I don't think he should've been on the team in the first place. His brand of "sportsmanship" is not appropriate for the winter games...and he's not the kind of player I want representing my country.

What was Bertuzzi thinking when he took a totally stupid and useless penalty today in the early third period.

Somehow Bertuzzi doesn't strike me as someone who actually gives much thought to possible consequences of his actions.
