Tomms - that shot down the hallway with all the turquoise in it is simply glorious. Wow.

Yeah, King West still has a long way to go before becoming the next Yorkville, but I agree that both are overpriced.

Wow that's not what I heard, I heard the one bedrooms were about 500K and the two bedrooms were about 600 to 700K on average. How much they are now, I dunno!

I still have the 1 Bloor agent handout... These are the original prices (back before anything was released to the public):

FLOORS 18-35 - 1 BEDROOM (w/interior square footage):

540 sq ft = $354,900
570 sq ft = $374,900
595 sq ft = $384,900
605 sq ft = $400,900

FLOORS 45 - 59 - 1 BEDROOM

670 sq ft = $474,900
755 sq ft = $524,900

Thanks casa, I think since then the prices have gone up minimum 200K from what I heard but that was like a month after the initial sales, I haven't heard anything about how the sales are going now or if the prices have fallen back down to earth since...

My understanding that they are still selling, a few units a week. I think they will start promoting the project once construction starts.
I understand the PCL got the contract to build this building and they can do it, probably better then any one else. That was a smart move by developer to hire PCL.

Yes Grandma.

^And I might be helping build this project: sent my resume into PCL==they're hiring and want good (read: not drunk) workers, asap. I've never worked on a site in Toronto, so it will be interesting if I accept the job.

Good luck! If you get it, maybe that means we'll have some really good photos of the construction from a different angle.

That would be amazing! (For you and all of us!) Good luck with it!

Walked by the site today. Workers were dismantling the windows on the Bloor st. strip, while it looked like almost all the interior has been demolished. Another couple of weeks, and it should be done.
