    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

A little OT but I was walking along Hurontario near this section a couple of days ago and the new hydro poles are such an eyesore to me. I still don't understand how, with the road being torn up, they couldn't grab the opportunity to bury the cables. This isn't what the future is supposed to...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I don't want to wade into the wider debate of system amalgamation, but on the topic of this being Line 10 and there possibly being a bus route number 10 that is confusable, I think that's basically a non-issue. A train (be it heavy rail, light rail, streetcar, or subway) is easily distinguished...

Road Safety & Vision Zero Plan

Yes, and this is what it reads: Lights and reflectors on bicycles, etc. (17) When on a highway at any time from one-half hour before sunset to one-half hour after sunrise and at any other time when, due to insufficient light or unfavourable atmospheric conditions, persons and vehicles on the...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

That implies the transfer credit is $4.71, which comes from where? As I understand it, GO fares are supposed to be determined by start and end zones. Why is a transfer, within the GO system, doing anything to the price? There used to be a calculator on the GO website where you could simply...

    Mississauga Elm Public School | ?m | 2s | PDSB | Moffet & Duncan Architects Inc

Portables are now being installed. I still don't understand why not just make the school itself bigger if you know very well that you're going to need extra space within a year.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

On the north side, between "Kindergarten Play Area 1" and "Car Drop-Off", right against the fence over from the sidewalk. They're the tiny lines that look like dashes/hyphens against the fence. Plenty of bike room.

I would like to know as well. I made a guess earlier:

Ahh, my script blocker prevented that from loading. Also it doesn't seem to be included in the meeting invite or linked from the meeting itself. Direct link: https://app.sli.do/event/2York9T6YQyS6Wp1MysiyJ/live/questions

Where does one ask/see the questions? I've looked everywhere and I can't find a link or place where they are. I'm watching the meeting right now and they keep talking about asking questions "in the s[omething] application" but I have no idea what that is. I can't see or upvote questions.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

I'm just looking at the existing bridges heading east from PC. The one over Hurontario has space for two tracks on the south. Then the one over Cooksville Creek has space for one on the south. Then the one over Cawthra has space for one on the north. Building bridges is expensive so the logical...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Why north when the existing bridge already has space for two tracks on the south?

900 years for testing? I guess if you really, really, really want to iron out all the glitches....

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

LRT sharing the road with cars would be a bad idea if it were for a longer stretch, but this is a tiny portion of Hurontario, and the LRT has, what, 2 stops in this area? LRTs do not destroy "character" of an area, if anything, they increase it if they are well maintained. This stretch is...

    QEW - Mississauga/Credit River Project

That last pic is where the pedestrian overpass is going to be, I'm quite sure. I feel this is a terrible option. Overpasses like that are always unfriendly, with those back-and-forth ramps that make you feel like you're not getting anywhere. I rather they had gone with the underpass under the...

My whole family hates them. They look "crazy", "ugly", "like they were built by a drunk" and "can't look at them without getting nausea".

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

You said "I've never seen a take before that any of Toronto's 3 subway lines aren't rapid transit." but ARG1 never said that. It's clear that you misread Arg1's "Now imagine if like Yonge Street it had actual rapid transit, and not something that is barely faster than the bus outside of rush...

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Elevated down the middle of the street is ugly and definitely has a psychological impact on people and hence on business viability and pedestrian movement. Elevated also presents a barrier to access the transit, necessitating stairs or an elevator for stations. Ground-level encourages use by...

Considering the size and position of other things, those "people" in the back in the last picture must be one foot tall.

    Mississauga Hurontario-Main Line 10 LRT | ?m | ?s | Metrolinx

Lived in Brampton as a kid and everyone knew Main Street, Highway 10, and Hurontario were the same street. It's like asking how people even still know it was called the SkyDome at one point. People know because that's what everyone calls it.

Are we sure that's fog? It looks... dirtier.
