    Toronto Loft 45 Condos | ?m | 4s | Berkshire Axis | BDP Quadrangle

It's like all their 'fixes" simply spur on new problems. Run away!!

    Toronto Loft 45 Condos | ?m | 4s | Berkshire Axis | BDP Quadrangle

I see this stinky carbuncle practically every day. It's unimaginably bad. Had they mastered the cladding it would still look like a spartan econobox of a building, but at least it would have been a tidy one.

    From an eastbound streetcar, yesterday.

    Toronto Loft 45 Condos | ?m | 4s | Berkshire Axis | BDP Quadrangle

It's hard to believe so much could go so wrong in one relatively simple, small-scale project.

    Toronto Loft 45 Condos | ?m | 4s | Berkshire Axis | BDP Quadrangle

This is a complete eyesore. It's like watching a gravely wounded beast lurch from one injury to the next. Whoever's behind this spectacle should be hanging their heads in shame. The complete lack of curb appeal is appalling. That dilapidated fencing and and the general look of mayhem and...

Same. It's an unusual hue but I welcome the departure from the usual grey and earth tone offerings.

Too funny. A very good friend of mine lives behind that door with the windchimes over the entrance.

    Toronto 522 University Avenue | 232.35m | 64s | IA Financial Group | WZMH

Well said. It's incredible what Toronto has knocked down over the past six or seven decades in the breathless rush toward modernity. We had some good'uns in the core - real architectural gems.

    Toronto Queen & Ashbridge | 60.15m | 17s | Context Development | Teeple Architects

As I said - looks quite clean and lovely from the appropriate distance. The nautical white feels appropriate for a build that's overlooking the lake. The above pix are so clean they resemble renders!

This is the kind of build which looks much more attractive from a certain distance... the massing is interesting, even the crisp white is OK.... it stands out quite nicely. But then you get...closer.

Sweet addition to Riverside for sure. Lovely to see that brick, those arches!

    Mississauga M3 at M City | 260.29m | 77s | Rogers Real Estate | Arcadis

I think M3 might be very cool. As for those twisty neighboring towers? Mind not blown.

    Toronto The One | 328.4m | 91s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

That last one's a great compression shot. But man, the Gardiner's understructure sure looks tawdry and haphazard.

    Guelph 303-317 Speedvale Avenue East | 19.02m | 6s | Habitat for Humanity | Newton Group

Looks very institutional/military... like stacked barracks or a squat bunker. Not terribly inspiring. That part of town deserves better than this arid, forlorn proposal.

    Toronto Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 2) | 283.6m | 85s | Menkes | a—A

In this market? It's kinda dodgy at the moment. Condo sales are in free fall, are they not? Even if this is a fairly attractive location. They are probably going to move forward only when circumstances permit. Even so, I wish this pair of towers weren't so stodgy-looking.

    Toronto 1233 Queen East | 35.7m | 9s | Core Development | Studio JCI

That particular shade of darker brown reminds me of the ubiquitous wooden wall panelling you'd see in basement rec-rooms of suburban homes typical of the late 60s/early 70s. The truly offensive thing to me is that there is already peeling on the cladding. It's as if it were sealed with an...

    Toronto 1233 Queen East | 35.7m | 9s | Core Development | Studio JCI

Shame if that's true. Reminds me.... there's a newish 3 story loft building near the top of Connaught Avenue on the east side that's recently been semi-completed. It looks like hell and the cladding is already peeling. A true eyesore. Whoever's behind it seems to have neither deep pockets nor...

    Toronto 1233 Queen East | 35.7m | 9s | Core Development | Studio JCI

Great documentation of the demolition of this site. Most peculiar methodology but I'm enjoying the novelty of it. Really looking forward to this project - it's going to beef up and urbanize the presence of that long-dormant corner of Leslieville.

St. Anne's Anglican Church (St. Annes, ?s, ?)

Fantastic pics of the church's destruction, it's truly tragic. I hate when this kind of thing happens.
