Pretty much, that's why I go downtown for any form of entertainment :D But I'm still not in a bad geographical position per se, 15 minutes from downtown and 10 from farming communities. I love driving up northward of Toronto.

Pretty much all the way up till Steeles and Warden you can see it. I remember watching the testing from here aswell. Prior to the illumination, it used be visable by just the aircraft warning lights but now it is so vivid. it's great.

I'm all the way in scarborough and can still see it lit up from my condo, gives me the same reaction.

I was there a few nights ago and am really glad they chose to light the elevator shaft as opposed to the entire thing. Gives it a more streamline look.

I'm just wondering how the Color Kentics installation can produce millions of colors and color-changing effects, and can't emulate a black colour?

When you look at the tower lit up, it emits a very bright colour, I'm prety sure black could be seen aswell.

Diods can produce a black colour. It wouldn't be an intense black colour, one in which you can't see the tower. It would be more of a translucent black, on white effect.

I think it would be cool to see the tower lit black, not as a standard or anything, but just a black LED lit tower.

Thank You Mike, yeah actually you are right. Painting the roof would just be a short term solution, The structure from the top looks like it's in dismal condition and would need concrete work.
