    Death.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

"Somali Night" would be more fitting, perhaps.

From the latest Warmington column which revolves around Farah and the crack judge accusations: Say what?

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It's almost as if she wants him to win. I made an off-hand remark on Facebook earlier today that the best strategic vote for Chow supporters would be Ford. He would be unable to get consensus from council on any of his ideas leaving the middle and left-leaning councillors to essentially run...

Definitely from Team Soknacki. He was the only municipal candidate with my email address.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Probably related to the spammy Steven Levitan (Ward 16) email which I received earlier this afternoon. The email specifically thanks Soknacki for meeting with him.

The white Bronco is pretty infamous.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Found it buried in a Star article: "The city’s own overall violation rate is 55.8per cent." That seems remarkably high, too. http://www.thestar.com/news/city_hall/2014/05/06/rocky_toronto_start_gets_garbage_collectors_safety_rating_downgraded.html

I have already searched for it and can only find references to the poor safety record of GFL. I hoped that some of the posters who originally posited that the city owned trucks were safer may have had figures to back it up. As such, I agree with the last sentence of your post.

I don't dispute the corner-cutting ... that's why I wrote 'understaffed and underpaid'. The money has to come from somewhere. Still not seeing how Rob Ford is held to blame, though. 31 other council members were complicit. I'd be happy to see the contract expire, although I haven't had a...

If you can find figures for the City-owned trucks, I'd love to read them. I don't doubt it's true. They're not understaffed and underpaid.

Socknaki, nah. I write in Ben Kerr.

So, what are you saying? Who is responsible for the driver of that truck? Rob Ford? Council? The Ministry of Transportation? Himself? A GFL truck killed a woman 2 years ago, if I remember correctly. A City of Toronto truck killed a young boy last year.

Nah, just a lot of organic grocery 'shoppes' and new restaurants. Thankfully, we still have an indie book 'shoppe' down the street and a small but nice library. The newest doughnut store in our neighbourhood is a favourite of at least one of the Fords, though Galaxy seems more their speed. Yes.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Yes, of course, I'm THAT BLOODY DENSE that I didn't want to make the utterly tenuous link between the inconsiderate driver of random vehicle on the road and Rob Ford. What a stretch. I bet the city-run trucks are perfect citizens of the road.

It's probably the best choice in this thread. I was never much of a fiction writer.

... and a cyclist disobeys a stop sign. Not sure of the Ford link, though.

The CBC story leaves wiggle room to support the sighting at Tim Hortons on Tuesday. He left the 'rehab' facility for medical care, on Saturday, and returned 4 days later.

He's a strong supporter of FOI requests, especially when it comes to his schedule.
