    Toronto Lower Don Lands Redevelopment | ?m | ?s | Waterfront Toronto

I wish someone would explain this, I just saw the new designs for the St Lawrence Center… for 2030. It’s kinda like we’ve given up on the 20s already. Is it interest rates? Supply chains? Are all available workers booked for the rest of the decade? Nobody has talked about it, but there’s no...

9,000 units at what- 1.5 per unit = 13,500? Maybe they get a RABBA and pointed towards the pedestrian bridge to Queen's Quay? Was also just thinking about how they have a plan for three non-profit day cares and a school - all this time I was envisioning traffic issues as residents try to come...

Currently in the community meeting and a little taken aback that they're saying resident occupancy in 2031. They've increased the density to help the housing crisis, but that 8yr wait doesn't look to help any time soon. Makes me wonder what Sidewalk's timeline would have been.

Giving it some more thought, I would say it’s never going to expand. I think most folks don’t realize just how much control Distillery management has beyond their private grounds- so there’s no way they would want an adjacent event they couldn’t control or make money off. And I imagine they...

    Distillery District

The thing that I'm wondering is with all the new residents piling into the area in coming years, whether the Christmas Market- er, Winter Village will be able to continue in its current form. As we've seen- parking has disappeared, more residential traffic will occur and incur more complaints...

With a whole new river and planned flood zones, would the concrete base have made that much of a difference? Tangentially, will the debris/sediment management area have a permanent setup for dredging?

I’m not an engineer, so I don’t know what’s possible with the condition of the tower- but they’ve been running a temporary observation deck beside Polsons for a little while now right? I don’t know why they couldn’t have repurposed this for that. Personally, I’m not a fan of these things. I’d...
