    Toronto Minto Westside | 68.88m | 20s | Minto Group | Wallman Architects

Actually now that you mention it - it kind of looks like Context's proposal for 620 King Street West.

651 Queen West Restoration (formerly Big Bop)

From the article "It’s another swanky ugrade for the strip anchored on the east end at Portland St. by the recently opened Loblaws and Winners stores. The overhaul, which began with Starbucks in 2008, will continue with a new Royal Bank branch in a few months". Anyone know where the Royal...

    Toronto 629 King Residences (was Thompson Residences) | 53.34m | 15s | Freed | Saucier + Perrotte

There isnt really anymore property available in King West to build on so I am not surprised by his bullying at the end. He can take his crying towel elsewhere and hold other potential residents hostage with his average 5 year wait time for new builds.

    Toronto oneeleven Condominiums | 55.47m | 17s | Harhay | Core Architects

Units in my building continue to sell within a week. I have been in this hood since 2000 and love the way it turned out so far. Partially due to the citizens that live here, Adam Vaughan and the enforcement of realistic height restrictions.

An earlier post by Allianz on November 14th shows the square footage costs as follows: "Brad Lamb's agents started selling this project one week ago. Prices are not that bad, $259k for one bedroom 508 sqft ($511 per sqft) or $244k for one bedroom 452 sq ft ($540 per sqft). Floorplans are good"

Toronto King Portland Centre and Kingly Condos | 57.6m | 15s | Allied | Hariri Pontarini

I havent seen anything proposed by Plazacorp for 525 Adelaide as of yet so interesting that they are cooperating and havent released any proposal themselves for their site.

Are you talking about the same Freed who is building the Bathurst Street building of 650 King 10 feet away from this proposal?. Actually I am glad it is not Freed. This proposal is way better than any of Freeds latest imo and has a chance of being built in a reasonable amount of time, not the...

Agreed. Automation Gallery posts "Yeah, thats if area residents let it...this one at 16-17 storeys might just not fly with them. Unfortunately they are more worried about height than design" and then he cries fowl when someone calls him on it. Same old same old - Boring!!!

Maybe if you are looking at it from a couple of kilometres away it would look like a solid wall but certainly not from the immediate vicinity. The Thompson building shows contrast from the street level and 650 King while not finished as of yet is already showing contrast. I agree that the...

Where are you getting this addiional information? Office space and retail. Other than the rendering on Core Archtects site which doesn't even mention the builder, I haven't seen any other information.

Waddingtons is moving out in September but dont know when the Office furniture business is leaving. I cant see this being 20 stories plus - nothing around here is including the Lamb building going up at Adelaide and Brant.
