Agree 100%. The glass ain't too bad, but what I like most is how narrow this tower's east-west facade is. With that said, the slope and the soon to begin slanting roof make this tower that much better. Question is, does it trump the ugly south base facade?

SO 130 metres for the 38 story tower. I will add it to the list.

I'm not getting the logic of refusing this building. It's not any taller than many of the other projects and a sloping skyline has absolutely no intelligence behind it.

haha Ramako. Great post! I cant believe we have to wait until 2011 to see phase 2, but in the meantime, we will have Phase 1 to enjoy. Still 6 months away, but it will begin when some of the others are winding down.

Hopefully they release more information soon (i.e. heights) on the towers so I can add them to the 400 ft. list. Something tells me Mississauga is going to start to rev up again very soon in a big way with this and Amacon's Parkside Village

This one's not too bad. It kind of reminds me of some of the projects going up in Miami. I think as mentioned before, it looks great with Verve. The biggest surprise for me was the impact it makes on the skyline. It really stands out in its location. I give it a 7/10.

Something tells me the Crystalblue tower may be the only tower that goes up in this city by Bazis.

AHHH!! I dont know what to think! This site is almost as cursed as the Sapphire tower.

Sorry just for clarification, does this mean it is being submitted for approval review or it has been approved?

My hope is that they make this area more pedestrian friendly as right now their is no reason to walk along here.

Not sure I like the panels used on the south side of the lower floors. They wouldn't be bad on their own, but with the glass above they look out of place and don't blend in well.

Not sure if anyone knows, but the latest condo guide says this is under construction (I think just referring to the two shorter towers), and skyscraperpage.com has the tallest tower listed as under construction. Does anyone know what is happening with the taller tower? My understanding was it...

Hard to say, but the rendering doesn't look like they will be adding fins (even shorter ones) on to the sides. Little ones would at least cover part of it.

Well I guess we can all make smart ass comments, but my post was in reference to the hours taking place outside that photo i.e. soil testing, posted signs, closing parking lot etc. Otherwise we will need to post and have a moderator approve what they think is a reasonable for others to see...

I haven't added metres as it may look to cluttered and confuse people. Really it's just the height in feet *3.28. I mad end up trying it out when I get time, but for now I think feet just makes the building so much more imposing of a number i.e. 1,000 ft. versus 305 metres.

^True. I think the huge delays are mainly due to financing, which it sounds like this project cant get.
