    Rob Ford's Toronto

What I don't understand is this: Why are all these people so excited to be seen in pictures with Rob Ford? It's been going on for a while now and I never could wrap my head around it - are they all just intoxicated by other people with a certain level of fame?

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Rob Ford would fit (pun intended) into that type of show... but with his family being the way that it is, why not include them too? Sort of a Honey Boo Boo format where the follow the whole messed up gaggle around with cameras.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

TREB's adjusted Q4 2012 numbers compared to unadjusted Q4 2013 numbers = fatally flawed data

Palatial Toronto condo lists for $18.5 million

Somebody hit that place with the ugly stick...

Very true... and her attempts to shift blame from Rehtaeh Parsons' rapists to the young victim herself were pretty pathetic.

Frankly, I'm glad that Peepers is gone (I can only hope he is never unbanned). While I enjoy sites that have diversity, I can't stand ones that allow bigots a platform to spread their vile messages. And Peepers used UT in such a manner... so I say 'good job' to the mods who made the right...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

If TREB uses unadjusted numbers from the previous month and compares it to adjusted numbers from the year before, why would anyone pay attention (not taking about you, klb86 - I'm talking about media outlets)? The numbers are hopelessly inaccurate and will always show a more rosy picture than...

    Ahh... understood. :D

Hezza is heroin. It seems to me that they were pretty clear about that. It's not like they made up a new 'H' word for heroin and we have to guess what it really is that they are referring to... this one is cut and dried.

If you could purchase a property anywhere in Toronto...

A humble person doesn't refer to themselves as humble.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Wow, you're a really wonderful person. Smart too.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

    Classic case of 'deflection'.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

It's a common, unwritten rule of politics that you don't interfere when your opponent is digging his/her own grave.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

He said the contents of the video are what was reported by the media. He didn't say Ford was smoking crack on it, but he strongly implied it.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

Agreed. Zero percent chance that he'd resign... and maybe a 2% chance that he'd take a temporary leave of absence for 'personal reasons'. But he isn't giving up the job - no way in hell. The only way to get rid of him is for the voters to do so.

Blair's exact quote was, "Where we have evidence of criminal behaviour . . . we've laid those charges." Past tense. And now he's saying that there isn't evidence that would allow the Toronto Police to lay charges against the Mayor. Seems like he's going to skate free.

    Rob Ford's Toronto

So... am I correct in thinking that Rob Ford is avoiding any criminal charges (per Blair's words about already laying charges where criminal activity was present) and his friend Lisi is going to be the fall guy?

Is it possible that it was an honest mistake? Sure, it's in the realm of possibility. But given the fact that Mr. Boodowleh has, multiple times, given police false names, I think 'oops' can be safely ruled out. Someone who is willing to do a thing like that tends to keep going to that well.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

The House Of Representatives leadership (John Boehner) will bring a bill up for a vote that will extend the debt limit for about a month (or month and a half), but still keep the government shut down, and will see if he is able to get most of the Tea Party caucus member's support. If he isn't...

    I'd tend to agree.
