There is no question that European cities are way more denser than North American ones. The only place in North America that can be compared to European cities in terms of density is Manhattan.

Richmond Hill High Tech Transit Oriented Community | ?m | 80s | Metrus | BDP Quadrangle

Looks good to me. High Tech can serve as Richmond Hill's new Central Business District just as how Vaughan is developing its own CBD beside the Vaughan subway station. If only Mississauga and Markham can get connected to the Subway line that will allow their downtowns to fully develop as well

    Toronto CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I wish the highest floor of the building was preserved as a restaurant and observation deck. It would have offered great views of the city. Something like what New York did with One Vanderbilt.

That render just shows how dated the Convention Center looks. It really needs to be torn down and replaced. Looks like a concrete bunker.

    Transit Fantasy Maps

This is what I hope by 2050 the Subway map of Toronto will look like. It will look a complete and holistic system. The Bloor line is extended westwards towards Mississauga City Center and eastwards Towards Markham The sheppard line is extended westwards to link up with the bloor-danforth line...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Buffalo Bills experiment failed because Rogers charged extremely high ticket prices. It was cheaper for many Toronto fans to drive to Buffalo and watch the game there. Toronto is most definately a Football city. No one cares about the Argos because most people don't really care about the CFL...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Yeah I am sure. Point is that the city has kind of passed you by. It's a much more international and cosmopolitan city with a diverse population who can support different type of sports including the NFL. Toronto will get an NFL Team. It's not a question of if but when. My Guess would be...

21% is still pretty good. Once more media attention and a proper business case can be formulated, that number will rise.

I wonder how many of the people you know expressed an interest in having a Basketball Team in this city in 1991.

The era of dual purpose stadiums was a very 1980s thing and that's over. Skydome was among the last to arrive with that kind of arrangement. But since that time, Baseball specific stadiums has been the way to go. Look at Camden Yards. It has a great environment. I admit, it's going to be...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

There are plenty of places to place a Stadium. Downsview Park is one area. It's centrally located, near major subway lines, highways. Another is the Portlands Area. Once the East Harbor station is built up, it could serve as a transit gateway to the new Stadium.

First of all that that is a National Survey asking if they want an NFL team at the expense of CFL. So it will biased due to the team being placed in Toronto at the expense of lets say Saskatchewan Roughriders. An accurate poll should only involve people who live in the GTA and ask them if they...

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

I am so glad that Canada is moving away from this kind of mindset that your opinion is a minority one. I love the NFL and definitely want a team in Toronto. The Skydome is a relic of the 1980s and we need a world class stadium. Getting an NFL team will allow us to build a world class stadium...

The base looks terrible. A complete dead zone. The footpath is too narrow and needs to be repaved.

It will most likely be an expansion NFL Team. NFL will from 32 Teams to 36 Teams. With Toronto, London, San Antonio and St. Louis likely candidate for expansion. Here are a list of richest Canadians who could potentially do this. I know NFL doesn't do corporate ownership.

    Toronto Rogers Centre Renovations | ?m | ?s | Toronto Blue Jays | Populous

Populous is a good company that have chosen to re-design the Skydome. I think the re-designed will be good. Now if only Toronto gets an NFL team and a new stadium either in Downsview Park or Portlands Area
