    Toronto Picasso Condos | 128.62m | 39s | Mattamy Homes | Teeple Architects

It's so true! I'm thinking that this will be a top project once there is some height and some exterior cladding. So mid-year it will be all the rage on UT :D Some day time shots to make up for the crappy night ones I took above... Jan 4

The history of Toronto is very interesting; to see how we have evolved from a Victorian industrial city to today and having the top-rated financial institutions in the world located here (take that NYC -- aren't we buying up your banks?!?). Some things do take time. This is now our time.

Jan 3 Crappy cell phone shots and at night...but at least this one is at ground level and heading skyward. I will be following Picasso closely this year as one of my favourite new projects.

I don't think that we need to have the world's best buildings and/or attractions. I think living in the best city of the world's best country is enough.

    Toronto Eau du Soleil Condos | 227.98m | 66s | Empire | Richmond Architects

I haven't checked into this thread for awhile, but reading that 63 stories was approved for the tallest building is pretty awesome for HBS!

Agreed. Just digging down and building back up seems to take forever (at least a year or more!). Finding artifacts and/or coming into ground water issues can make things even messier.

I still haven't been, although this was one of the buildings and attractions that I was most excited to see open last year. I'm waiting until the winter blues kick in. Judging by the last few weeks it's going to be a horribly cold and dreary winter, so I'm thinking that I will be going sooner...

Yes, please! I'm big on mid-rise projects on the avenues and this one is top notch in my books. Great pics ;)
