The north portion of the roof (small tower) had the lighting display on. Vibrant and multi coloured, changing every 30 seconds. It will be quite a sight when complete.

I have a feeling "some" people use Google Earth and UT to come up with the craziest ideas about an area. Not only can GE be out of date by a few years, but relying on the good work of people submitting photos and info to UT gives a sometimes limited idea of what is going on. Walking inside SQ1...

I believe it's going to be one of those indoor skydiving venues. The only one I know of in Canada is located at Niagara Falls.

I believe Landmark Cinemas has bought the Empire location at SQ1. I agree this part of the mall is greatly underused. Hopefully they spruce up the outside of the theatre, it's becoming an eye sore.

Unfortunate that they remain empty. I've also noticed that the last 4 floors on the tallest tower (west facing) are still empty as well. At night there are never any lights on.

Was at the second open house for the LRT at MCC. I was surprised that their preferred route through the city centre includes going down Duke of York and not Living Arts drive. Seems to me having it closer to all the new and current development will get more people on the LRT. It will be silly...

I visit both the malls quite often and have done business with both, Square One has much more traffic than Sherway. Square One also has a broader mix of customers. From my understanding Sherway's customer base is shrinking as the adjacent smart centres keep getting bigger and bigger drawing...

With the trees missing and no umbrellas at the end I didn't recognize it was the Esplanade.

I can see that from investors. It would be nice for a family to have the option of staying in a condo if they decide to have more than 1 child. When I had a condo I was a bit wary when the investor units outnumbered owner occupied units.

I like the layouts in this building. Having a 3 bedroom option is a nice change as well.

I'm excited about the aquarium but the scenery does look a little like something you would find in Big Al's. I won't judge until I visit, but I hope it isn't gimmicky as well.
