Dropped by the site today. Quite a dig! A new raised addition to the front of the existing two towers, that angles back across the back of the property, for Towers C & D.

Those Gore Park facades have to be kept, no matter what. The history they embody and their relation to the park, makes their preservation the absolute top priority for anything going in here. It looks absolutely amazing. It's old and new + cryptic and honest all at once.

I think moving the house for preservation's sake, while clearing up land for increased density is a good idea - we've seen it done succesfully a number of times in Toronto. It'd be better if they could find a way to do without that hefty cuboid attached to the front. I like that so much effort...
