Hey skyjacked its great that we are getting contributions from other crane operators besides yourself. Considering the number of cranes currently dotting the skyline the potential is enormous.

I just read (national post on-line I think) that markham city council met with Gary bettman, among others from the NHL offices, prior to voting on the project. No one is saying what was said however.

I live there and most of the films appeal to the older set. Weekend evenings can be busy and the Saturday opera shows are popular. It would be a strange time to close with new neighbors bringing numerous new patrons to the neighborhood in the next few years.

I'm thinking that you are one person who will not have any difficulty finding people to help on moving day. How much help they'll be and not simply there to enjoy the views is another matter.

I was under the impression that the current location is just temporary (all the way down to floor 51 or something) and that when ready it will be lifted and put in position so that it rests on the top floor out at the corners. If true then it will be a few floors taller than what it shows now...

Well this project has it's own iPad application. Maybe one day they'll have a building to go along with it.

Just curios adma, as you certainly have strong opinions about the changes being made to the Eaton Centre, but have you been to the mall to see the changes yourself? If yes then what do you think (putting aside the issue of the fact that this is a renovation rather than something new)?

I was down there today and although it is difficult to fully gauge the changes at this point I am of the opinion that the changes are for the better. The third floor at the south end looks much better than the third floor area just south of the sears store. Looking forward to seeing things when...

How can they "plan" to tear it all down when the have no proposals to consider. I would like to see the pods stay but I'm open to see what they come up with. I like the Hotel/Casino idea. I also like this location for a aquarium over the one currently being considered.
